This is an advantage over just reading about them when trying to decide who to query about your work. The talks that are presented are helpful and interesting. And meeting other writers in such great numbers is both fun and inspiring.<br /><br />I've got two conferences lined up in Texas soon, Austin SCBWI in January and Houston SCBWI in February.
